The two lead heroes of ‘De Dana Dan’ have impressive way of thanking their spot boys.

In Priyadarshan’s ‘De Dana Dan’, Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty have used the names of their spot boys - Nitin Bankar and Ram Mishra respectively - who have been in a long-time service with the actors.

It is said that Akshay had first initiated the idea, which amused the director very much. “We were thinking about what to name these two characters since we wanted them to be simple and the kind that any common man can relate to. There was never an intention to keep anything filmy. Since Akshay plays a Maharashtrian in the film, he suggested to be called Nitin Bankar who happens to be his spot-boy. I found it as a nice name and consented immediately. To keep the uniformity on, Suniel's character was named as Ram Mishra,” recalled Priyadarshan.

Lucky spot boys, we say!
